The video of “standing up” is a very interesting video, the concept that it shows over standing up for the gay, lesbian community and resolving the discrimination towards them in a peaceful way works very well. Instead of the two gay boys fighting back in a violent way, they solve their problem in a peaceful manner; nothing is even said for the boys to “solve” problem. The only thing that is done is with support of the whole class students of same gender stand up and hold hands, that message is very powerful, the reason for this being is now the bully is put on the spot and no one sided with him or agreed. If more problems were solved this way, less discrimination would be around the world, leading to a more peaceful world.

ReplyDeleteI believe that the only way for something terrible to stop is through a peaceful nature. In the video, there was no force being shown by the two victims, but instead they chose to "fight back" through the use of a very peaceful demonstration. If only the world could use more peaceful ways of setting an example.
